Calling all aspiring champions aged 19 and above residing in the fantastic Liverpool City Region postcode area! You're invited to join our action-packed training course, created and taught by the industry's very own superheroes. They'll give you the know-how to conquer challenges and land your dream role in the hospitality universe. The Skills Bootcamp: Hospitality Horizons is designed to fully equip you to develop your existing role or gain a new role within hospitality and help shape the future of Liverpool City Region Hospitality.
Throughout and upon completion of the programme, our fully qualified team will support you in taking your next steps, including:
• Sourcing a guaranteed interview (where required)
• Providing mentorship
• Supporting your employer to enhance and develop your role (if applicable)
• Offer any further guidance or support as necessary
In addition, completing the programme will result in gaining 4 level 3 accredited units from the Hospitality Operations Level 3 BIIAB qualification and completion certificates for both the Mindset, Culture and Resilience workshops and Inclusivity workshops: all that, plus a modern mindset to tackle the issues facing the industry today.
ABOUT THE PROVIDER
Barfection is a training provider specialising in bartender and barista traineeships. Barfection specialises in helping people with little or no work experience break their way into the Hospitality industry with the mission to support and enhance the lives and careers of those that work or wish to work in the hospitality sector with a sole focus on front of house.
Programme Commitment
You will be expected to attend 1 or 2 workshops a week which will take place online on Mondays 6-9pm and face to face on Tuesdays 10am-4pm at Slater Studios in Liverpool.
In addition, there will be flexible study sessions held on Wednesdays or Thursdays to support you with completing any work.
Programmes typically run for 8-16 weeks depending on weekly levels of commitment
To be eligible for the Skills Bootcamps: Hospitality Horizons programme, individuals must meet the following criteria:
- Participants must be 19 years of age or older and have reached their 19th birthday on or before 31st August 2023
- Individuals must have a Liverpool City Region home postcode or for employed participants, they must work in Liverpool City Region
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Meet residency requirements (this can be discussed upon application)
